How to Remove Noise from Vocals

Mic hiss and hum that find their way into an audio recording are often not obvious until you need to add compression.

One of the worst places this can happen is on a vocal, either in a recording session or an interview.

The ERA5 Bundle helps you remove noise from audio, not only hissing and hum but plosives, esses and mouth clicks. De-essing a vocal is necessary to keep the sharp esses and T sounds under control and stop them poking out of a recording and making it sound harsh.

In this video, I give the Noise Remover and De-Esser modules a run for their money on a vocal subgroup that has a bad dose of mic hiss and some sibilance issues too!
